Referral for Services:
All patients are welcome to our practice. In order to comply with some insurance company’s internal policies, and for them to reimburse a claim, a referral/prescription from your physician will be required. If your insurance company requires pre-authorization for services, this will need to be completed before an appointment is made.
Fee for service is also accepted and does not require a referral. The State of Rhode Island statues allows for direct access to a physical therapist without a physician referral since 1992.
